My Story
I didn't get into the mortgage business to push products — I got into it to help people make one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives with confidence, clarity, and zero regret.
After years in the industry, I kept seeing the same thing: homebuyers confused by the process, frustrated by big banks that treated them like a number, and overwhelmed by decisions they didn't fully understand. I knew there had to be a better way.
When I purchased my first house as a first-time home buyer, the loan officer I was dealing with didn't explain anything to me. I had no idea what was going on and merely just signed paperwork, and I was told when to sign it and show up for closing. I was probably a good client, and my situation was pretty easy, but I remember that now, looking back at it. As a loan officer, I never want first-time home buyers to go through that feeling of anxiety and stress, and so I wanted to make a difference.
That's why I became a Branch Manager at Certified Mortgage Planners — to build a practice where every client gets a real strategy before they ever shop for a home. Not just a rate quote. Not just a pre-approval letter. A full plan tailored to their situation.
